Without health care reform passing this week, the Pell Grant program was in jeopardy of being underfunded which would have significantly cut Pell Grans for felons award amounts and jeopardize efforts to get funding for school. With the passage to the health care reform bill, Pell Grant funding will continue at full steam ahead which means many people who have been convicted of a felony will be able to continue tapping into this type of grant funding for their educational needs.
