Grants for felons can be found through a number of resources, especially if you are looking for school grants for felons or other types of education grants.   If you have a home that is in need of re-model, and if you are looking for grant money to fund that re-model, then you’ll want to consider how you can obtain alternative energy grants or renewable energy grants to update your house.   In many local communities, the federal grant money that was passed down through the stimulus is providing grants for homeowners if they agree to upgrade their homes and use alternative energy to power the major appliances and HVAC of the home.    So, as a felon, be sure to consider this option as part of your overall remodel as it may provide significant savings in secure funding through grants that do not have to be repaid.  In addition, you can typically choose which contractors you will use for the remodel and this option gives you an opportunity to use a contractor that provides jobs for felons.
