We have many people, convicted of a felony in the past, who are looking for grants for education, grants for housing, and even grants to help find work. If you fit into any of these grant needs, be sure to consider faith based grants as they are often made available right in your own community and there will be fewer people trying to obtain those grants. Typically, grants faith based are not advertised so you will need to call around, or visit, the faith based organizations in your community to see what is offered. Here at Grants for Felons, we are working diligently to provide information on grants for felons and especially those who are single mothers or women who have been left to raise children alone now that their partner has been incarcerated. Pell grants are one of the most important school grants for single mothers so if you are raising your children alone, and if you want to attend school, be sure to fill out your FASFA form online as soon as your income tax return is done. In doing so, you can start the Pell grant application process and get into school by the fall!
